On July 2, 1954, Harry S. Truman dedicated 2,100,000 cubic yards of concrete, 16.5 million pounds of steel, and 4 million tons of gravel in what is Bulls Shoals Dam. It was the 5th largest structure of its type when built. Bull Shoals is a man-made lake in the Ozark Mountains of northern Arkansas and southern Missouri, formed by damming the White River.

The lake is known for its clear, clean water. The Tucker Hollow area of Bull Shoals Lake is ideal for fisherman and families alike! Unlike many area lakes, you can enjoy your lake experience without dealing with the issues brought by overcrowding. You will feel much safer having your family and friends swimming, skiing, tubing, water boarding, or just “bobbing” in the water.

Bull Shoals Lake is teaming with Bass, Crappie, Walleye and Catfish. Please keep in mind that the lake meanders in and out of Missouri and Arkansas. Make sure you have a fishing license, and a reciprocal license for the neighboring state.

Tucker Hollow Lodge is located in the beautiful Ozark Mountains of north central Arkansas. We sit overlooking Bull Shoals Lake. Tucker Hollow Lodge is a very short, comfortable walk to the water’s edge. The Tucker Hollow area provides a full-service marina with all the amenities one could need while vacationing at the lake. We sit 300 yards from the water’s edge!
